I expected a bit more from this seeing as I enjoyed Tactical Warrior more, but it was a great game regardless.
It seemed slightly short compared to what I expected, and the variety in roles able to be filled by each unit is quite lacking compared to TW. It just seems like a smaller version of TW, but with a neat little deck system for your captain. Also, past the 3 cost items, you hardly get any item upgrades worth mentioning in terms of really affecting gameplay (crit is the only impacting one besides stamina regen). I feel that is pretty upsetting seeing as how in TW, my poison archer, regen tank badger, heavy crit archer, and manyyy other unit styles/combos could be heavily improved by intelligent item choices, whereas on here, they dont make a huge impact (relatively speaking, they just dont impact gameplay enough, and the styles of each class are set to one role).
